Lily and Emma are pretty much having a bath everyday. After breakfast Lily gets so messy and she is very independent. She does not need help eating her food. She wants to do it all by herself.

I don't feel good enough to actually work out so I do lots of handstands. It is fun and it is very entertaining. Emma and Lily are catching the handstand fever. Emma has found creative ways to keep her legs up.

This is Emma's pumpkin she drew bangs on her and eyelashes and everything.

This is Dave's he did a good job. He is really cute when he does projects. He is a huge perfectionist and he wants to make sure his lines are straight. He even worked on it after the kids went to bed. Then the next day Emma got up early and came downstairs and decided that his needed to be pink so she painted over the whole face pink. Dave took it well. He did not even get mad after all his hard work.

Emma and Lily are great artist. I love to draw and I am so happy that my kids also love it to. Emma does not go anywhere without her art pad and drawing supplies. It has really rubbed off on Lily and now she says, Hey mom I wannna draaw.

Honey is so loving. We always ran next to door growing up so we could tell on our parents to Honey and Papa. I would love to live next door to my parents so Emma and Lily can go tattle tell on me to.

Funny Stories

Emma and Lily say and do so many cute and funny things I have to start writing them down so I don't forget. Today Emma said as we were waiting for Dave to come home from work, "Mom can Dad be my prince charming tonight at the party."
I was talking to Emma a few days ago and I asked her If she thought her Dad was strong. She said, "Yes he is so strong because he can spray bugs to kill them."
Emma and Lily are really good at saying there prayers. Emma will say her prayer while Lily says it in her own words. So I did not know what Emma was saying at the end of her prayers for a long time until she said it slower the other night. She says, "and thanks for Jesus Christ." Instead of, in the name of Jesus Christ.
My mom got me a really pretty necklace when I got married. I was excited because Michelle found it in her jewelry box. So I brought it to my house. I had it on my dresser and Emma came in my room really early while I was still sleeping. She saw it and took it to her room. Then about an hour later she said, "Oh Mom I broke your necklace. I am sorry don't worry about it Mom its okay." Those are the same words I say to Emma when something breaks that she really cares about. I said, "how did it break?" She said, "I was just pulling on it and it broke but don't worry about it." I said, "I am really worried about it that makes me so sad that was a special necklace my mom gave me. She felt really bad and she went into her room. I could hear her talking to herself she said in a whisper voice,"Oh why did I tell me mom?" She is so cute it was hard to stay mad. She brought me her necklace and Said,"Look mom I am giving you a special necklace from me for you and Dad to get married."
I throw away a lot of stuff. I am notorious for throwing away stuff. I just don't really get attached to things. I like a non clutter environment. I might be a little to extreme. I threw away a little book Emma's class made. She saw it in the garbage and said, "Oh my gosh Mom you threw away my book." I felt really bad I did not want her to see it. I keep other things she makes. Then she screamed again,"Oh my Gosh mom you threw away my toy and it wasn't old yet." I might be a little to extreme.
During conference weekend Em said, "Uh my tummy really hurts." I said, "Why?" Emma said, "Well remember I swallowed money I found in the garage the other day." I said, "No I dont remeber you swallowed money." She said, "Well I did." So I took her to the doctor and he listened to her breathing and said he thinks she will be fine and it is pretty common. She never does stuff like that I was shocked I guess she was just curious or really really hungry.

I think that some Sundays you get extra blessings for going to church. Dave and I are usually a little frazzled before church. When Dave says," I don't want to be late." That is fighting words of course I don't want to be late either! No matter what time I get up I still am a little late. It is not easy to get me and the girls ready. My Mom had five girls and one boy. I don't remember ever being late. How in the world did she do that. I need to figure out some more tricks.

I love our car rides together. Emma and I have very deep conversations. She is very aware of her surrondings. That is why I cant listen to Doc Laura anymore, because Emma picks up on what she is talking about. I love Doctor Laura but she is a little vulgar sometimes. Emma always ask's me, "Mom can you play Barbies with me?" I reply, "No I cant right now because I am driving I have to watch the road." Emma always wants me to pull over so we can play Barbies.

This was a cold cold game. This is an action shot. Michelle and Blake and Emma and Lily are all reaching for each other at the same time.

We kept warm. We put Emma and Lily on our laps. Emma went underneath the seat during the game. I thought I could feel her by my legs but it was my bag. She crawled underneath a few people's legs. It scared me to death when I looked under my seat and she was gone. It is not like there is any leg room at all. She is so bendy she can get through very small places.

This little bag on Emma's lap had markers, pencils, crayons and erasers. Emma takes it everywhere she goes. She calls it her homework. She is a really good artist. She is always drawing and so is Lily.

Lily is going to be a ladybug for Halloween. She got to wear it a little early since it is really warm. It is not red for Utah. It is red for Dixie. Since she wore it to the BYU game.

I admire Dave's boldness. We were in the canyon with no one to take our picture so I just decided not to worry about it. Dave pulled over on the side of the road and stopped some random people. She had her head tipped back all the way so her hair could reach farther down her back. Emma is constantly telling me, "Oh mom I wish your hair was longer."

Spencer is so fast. At his last soccer game he was kind of running slow I was wondering why than at half time he came over to us and said well I have a staple in my shoe so my toe is bleeding. He waited the whole first half to fix it. His poor little sock had blood on it.

Our girls are were fearless of the water. Emma just had a huge scare. Dave took the girls swimming while I was at Swiss days. He was holding Lily and did not see that Emma was trying to catch him. She went in to far and couldn't reach the bottom. Luckily a woman saw her and jumped in to save her. Life is so fragile, it is a reminder for me how I need to treasure each moment we have together. I love the mornings so much. Dave gets up super early and goes to work. He brings Lily into my bed right before he leaves because she is usually crying. Than Lily gets really really close to me and cuddles and falls back asleep. Emma will hear the garage door close and wakes up. First she makes her bed then runs into my bed. She loves to have her room clean and her bed made. She asked me today if I would clean my room. I guess that is a wake up call and role reversal. I am going to clean it today so hopefully she wont remember my room being messier than hers when she grows up. Emma comes in and cuddles right next to me and Lily and they sleep for another hour right next to me. It is so fun. They just laugh and laugh and play around me and on me until I get up. They are great alarm clocks and very persistent alarm clocks.

The other night I was putting Emma to bed and she was kneeling down next to me saying her prayer. Emma is probably Tiff reincarnated. She loves to do anything that Tiffy is doing. She loves to sing and dance. When Tiff is in town Emma spends every possible second she can with her. Tiff is so good to her nephews and nieces.

As for Sean his nephews and nieces love him so much. Sean is playing with them and taking them places. Sean helps me out so much. he has rocked Lily to sleep so many times. So now I can publicly thank you sircatchalot.

In the Summer you think it would be warm but its is not. Fish Lake is such a special place to us. It holds so many memories that will never be forgotten. Honey and Papa started the tradition of going there every year. Honey was born in Wayne County so we go there every year for our reunion.

Little Emma you are so old.

Two years ago Natalie and Craig jumped in the water at Fish lake. That water feels like ice. I cant believe Natalie. Wow!!! Well they have been talked about for a couple years so Dave and Rhett decided it was there turn to prove themselves and they jumped in to. I will never ever do it. It is beyond cold.
